Tracking her helped me keep my mind focused on something other than the aweful events of that morning. I needed her to be sure. I couldnt stand the thought of waisting a life. Emotional as I was that day it brought me to tears. Most of you probably know what happened on that day. Im just now feeling like talking about the hunt. Not trying to muddy this post with that but my drive certainly came from within on this deer. I used to think the hunt began when you step into the woods. Nope, nope, nope, soooooo much nope. The hunt began as soon as I let go of the string.
You guys may recognize the bow, named slightly ticked. A stave given to me from my good friend Patrick aka lebhuntfish. I hit 200 fps with this bow with a close to 7gpp arrow. I am pleased with this bow. Very much so. Thanks again for that cursed stave Pat!
