Tip pointing wouldn't do me much good since my full draw is never the same.

Well, I got my bow shipped off today, should arrive wed or thursday.

Didnt i read in the beginning of this thread you hadnt made a bow in a year?!  Guess its like riding a bicycle for some people.

Cant wait to see that baby finished up.  How long are you going to let the sinew cure on that backing strip pat?

That was probably Pat B.  I'm always whittling away at something.
 I'll give it about a week or so and then start re-establishing a flat gluing surface and see how it looks then. The minimal wood thickness will let it lose moisture faster.
 The consensus seems to be that it's safe to bend a sinew job fairly soon even if it does continue to cure with time.

Chuck the sinew master says 2 weeks max on a simple wood/sinew job. That's providing your not in 85% humidity. I buy what he is selling as he has sinewed 20x more bows than I.
