Couldn't stand it any longer.  Beautiful, sexy Winged Elm recurve.  I'll get a chance to shoot it tonight and post some pics.

The real cool thing is that I'm making a couple of Elm bows to donate to the Elm Hall club here in Michigan.  I've been contemplating heat treating one of them.  After seeing the heat treat on my new Marc St Louis bow, I'm going to do it for sure.

Marc, thank you so much for such a fine gift.  This bow will certainly be treasured.  I can't wait to shoot it.  I remembered that you were trying to decide between two prospective bows.  I don't normally reply to those posts; I don't like to inject any influence on the bowyer's decision.  This however, is the one that I would have chosen had I responded.  Now, I think it's even worse for me, waiting for the opportunity to shoot it.

Well my bow changed a bit since last pics.  Had to shorten it to make weight so it is more of a brush bow now at 56" and is made for a shorter draw.  Hits hard though and I hope he likes it .  Shipping it tomorrow.

The bows are rolling in now.  I strung up Aaron 's bow and tested it out this afternoon.   The bow feels great in my hand.  It pulls smooth to full draw and really zips a flat arrow.  I was very happy and impressed.  This was my first group of arrows.  Every group was like this.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Nice group buddy, sure has a pretty brace. Were you shooting at full, full draw😜
