Thanks for the input Rich and Bubby!  I think I do have the flatbow with levers in mind, so I'll be sure to add a taper to the outer part of the working limb.

I will also thin my lever section a bit.  I have the fade going to 1", then tapering to 1/2" at the tip.  I knew it was going to need some thinning and wanted to leave myself a margin of error (as they say, it's easier to remove wood then to add it!).

So bubby, for your description: are you saying you would taper the width of the limb starting from the handle fade out to the 12-13" mark, going from whatever width I have at the fade to 1" at the 12-13" mark?  I'm not dead set on doing a Molle, but I thought it would be easier to leave it a consistent width to the lever fade and then if change my mind later, add a width taper.

Ty, looking good so far.  Rich will get you dialed in.  He's our resident "Molly Pro" :-)   We're blessed with a lot of knowledge here to help us out.

Can somebody tell me what Half Eye isn't a pro at?

Yeah ty that is what i was saying, you start with a even taper on the working limbs. You can leave the levers flat or flip them or recurve which is what i do just like this

That right there is a beautiful bow, bubby!  I think I'll go that route (which is actually what I have in my mind's eye).  Not to be a pest, but do you have an unstrung profile picture of that bow?

Bummed and frustrated.  Well, Plan B ain't gonna cut it.  The left limb that's bending much more has a concave area on the back where the bend is and this bow won't make the grade.  It may still make a good 40# bow, but will never get to my 50#+ needs.  Guess I'll have to start all over again :-(

Is that right limb longer Drew?  If so I think it has a pleasing bend.  Also try drawing it in the hand at that dl and see what it looks like.

Ajooter, they're the same length.  That concave back caught me off guard.  Guess I was in too big of a hurry trying to catch up and wasn't paying close enough attention.  Now I'm behind again.

in that case drew....I think that right limb just needs a little softening on the outer 2/3s....try that and then maybe pike an inch off each limb and see where your at.
