They postponed my hernia until next week due to a conflict with the Dr. schedule. I'm sitting home patiently and somewhat painfully waiting until next Wednesday.

Because of my age/health they only want to do one knee at a time and the first is scheduled for July 12. I was hoping to get them both done at once and be over it.

All of you that have been following along and participating in this trade can ship when your bows are finished and you determine that your guy is deserving. If you haven't seen your victim posting a finished product I'd advise holding shipment.

You guys all have good judgement and I expect you to ship at your own discretion.

I haven't heard from some of the guys and will make changes at the last moment if necessary but I don't want anyone getting a bow that hasn't worked for it.

Fred -  I have 2 coats of tru oil on my bow.  A few more coats and it will be ready to ship.  It is hot and humid here so it is taking about 24 hours between coats - probably send it next week.

Is it expected to write on the bow?
Enjoy the hunt!  Mitch

I think you should write on it but leave it up to you. I'd like mine signed by whoever made it.

Mines ready to go. I'll be shipping ASAP. Thank you!

P.S. I do still need to post finished pics of it and sign it. But it's ready and shoots fine!

I have two bows shot it and ready to apply finish.  I will try to remember to take some pictures to post.  So I am close, but not yet ready to ship.

This trade is gonna get exciting here real soon with all these bows going out. Makes me wish I would've waited to ship mine. But oh well DREWSTER already has it. Now can't wait to see the pics of all the bows when the victims get them.

My trade bow is going to go out right at the end of July.  It has a layer of sinew finishing drying, and I will be working on the decorative stuff over the next couple of weekends before I do the final finish tillering.  I have it out to the desired draw length and weight, but the sinew is likely going to wiggle it a little - it's not a lot but I expect a little retiller.  But, it will be ready, and it will ship on time.  I will post some more pictures soon as well.

Just chiming in here that I haven't dropped off the face of the planet, but due to the driveway getting ripped apart and repoured (blocking me off from the garage) and some truly sweltering weather, I've stalled out on my bow.  I'm hoping to get back to it this weekend, I'm not giving up on it.

See if you can clean up two years straight. Lots off good looking projects.
