Your mid limbs are stiff.

Agreed....was this a stiff handled or bendy bow?

Was hoping for a compass bend, the handle is moving, but only at full draw

Stuck...for me, I want the bend near perfect before I get the handle moving.  Near perfect each limb, and near perfect in symmetry.  Then I loosen the handle just enough to feel it.  Your over stressing the limbs just outside the fades, or so it appears to me.  Your close, but I would get that fixed before anything.

EDIT.  I said fades and you have none, but just outside the handle would be more precise.

Ty, that grain looks really nice.  I would echo what PD said, especially on the right limb in the picture.

Sorry Slimbob, do you mean the limbs at that point are not moving enough?

You have a spot just outside the handle on both limbs that appear to be working to hard. Take a 4 inch straight edge and run it along the belly. Look at the gap behind the straight edge. It will show no gap along the handle, then it will show the gap opening up outside the handle before closing up again mid limb. Where the gap is the widest is where it's bending too much. Get the gap even from just after the handle to just before the nocks. You can work on the handle once the gap on the limbs is even.

I'm not sure I'll be able to do much more than this today, but the top pic is the 1st 29" draw pic I posted and the bottom is after I scraped the spots Pearl Drums suggested to scrape.  The bow is lighter now (I double checked before scraping and it was at 59, now it's at 56), but if it ends up a wee below 55, I won't cry too much over it.

Ty it still looks a little stiff here compared to the other limb and just out side that mark on the right looks a little weak scraping in the marks should fix both  .. but thats just my 2 cents take it for what its worth.. please others chime in..

Otter, glad you like it! I've been hanging on to that bow for what seemed like forever. I'm very happy to see it go home! Shot a lot of arrows through it to make sure it was good. I'm glad I could get you your first bendy! I love a bendy handle bow. And of course I had to put a little artwork on it. Enjoy it sir.

Cabinet,

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too.  I'll post more tomorrow!
