The more I look at it, I think I should try to make the right limb match that little bit of a natural recurve tip in the left limb. Something tells me that will make it easier on me.

I would agree with that.  Looking good.  Sweet shape to it.  I think when you do that you will need to get the left limb loosened up some.

I think the right limb is bending more than the left, maybe just a hair too much near the fade. I'd say maybe get the left bending a little more to match the right. I could be wrong though.

I agree with tattoo Dave.  Get that left limb bending a little more near the fade.

OK.  The D-bow is, most likely, going to miss my guy's spec by a couple of pounds.  Its going to be a lovely bow and I prefer it to the hollow-limb hazel bow. I think I need to finish them both and then choose, but that will delay dispatch by a week.  What do you guys think?

Wouldn't bother me any to be off a few pounds, or be a week late.

Just an update to the guys here. Been in the suck working double shifts from midnight to like 4pm and it's been on repeat. Should be out by the end of this week and I'll expedite it to my victim over night or on two day. Hope all is well.
i need nothing but my old bow and arrows.

It's fairly apparent that everyone has given it their all at this point. I can't see anyone getting that bent out of shape having to wait another week or two.

Actually I'll be visiting family that lives in my victim's home town so I may wait and drop it off in person Labor day weekend or at least "ding dong dash" after dropping it on the porch. Certainly better than a flaming bag of of dog poo. It's kind of a neat coincidence that will save me some shipping $$.

OK, so ran a straight edge:  now draws comfortably to 26" .  Looking at the photo I drew the bow at an angle and have stressed the limbs unequally. Will edit it when I get a chance to re-take the photo. In the meantime, how's it looking?

I like that shape DK. It wont take much to catch that left fade up, maybe 10-15 scrapes. If your weight is close, Id shoot it 20-25 times and see what it looks like. Nice bow so far.

That...looks sweet.  I think you are just about there now.
Maybe a tad tight in the left fade, but could be the shadows.
