The bow I've made is shot in I'd say.Over 200 arrows now.Still looking spry.Hate to let this one go but that's ok.

Well I'm certain he'll have fun with it.If not he can send it back....lol.It's ready for finish.Debating whether to put a leather handle on it or not yet.Brain tan of course.....lol.It has a horn arrow strike plate so his release has to be good for a nice quiet clean loose.

Ed I personally like naked wood for a handle. Some people think I'm weird though. Probably for other reasons though. :o

Ed,  if it's coming my way wrap that dude up. The feel of leather on the handle makes me feel like I have better control of the bow.

Feeling a little better Pat. Thanks for asking. I felt good enough yesterday to start another snaky osage stave. Chased a ring and got a good idea for the profile.

Need some bow porn????Here's the two I selected.The bow on the left is going.The bow on the right is staying.Not a recent pic but the tips on the left one have been narrowed a bit more too.About to the width of the right bows' tips.
