Newest board bow
« on: March 04, 2016, 09:38:01 am »
Hello all, fairly new to PA but have been reading here for a while. Just wanted to say you guys have some awesome bows posted here hope someday I can get there.
I have only made board bows so far about 12. This is from a hickory board that had some iffy grain so I backed it with rawhide and put cloth snakeskin on.
It is 66 ttt 2" fades taper to 1/2". Pulls 50#@28"
Anyway here are my humble efforts so far. Sorry if pics are lacking still getting hang of posting them

Great tiller.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

What's not to like?

We could stand to see a few more detail pics, though!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
