Looking for a feather burner

I put my charger on 6 volts when I used a homemade one.  I used a set of jumper cables and my car battery before I got a charger.  I just unhook the clamp after each arrow.

Sorry guys I missed a lot of this. I think I figured out a way to use my wood burner. Was going to use a burner pen we never use, and solder on a wire. Fix it all to a jig, my wood burner set has a dial to turn up the heat and down, and it does get red hot so I figure it should work?

if you're removing the actual heating element of the pen and replacing it with the burner wire, then yes it will work.

i'd question if soldering directly to the element would give even heat throughout the burner wire though. also, if the wood burner element gets red hot, it could melt the solder points if turned up too high.
