I took her our and put a couple dozen arrows through her this morning and she felt a bit heavier, so I put her on the tiller tree to check the weight. Right past 25", she exploded on me. It appears that it sheared apart at a knot under the handle. I figured, with the sinew backing and the handle being static, that it wouldn't be an issue. Guess I was wrong. Luckily, I'm so excited about my first piece of yew coming in the mail soon, that I'm not as bummed about this one biting it. Really sucks to see all that time going down the drain(especially the sinew processing, ugh!). Anyway, bring on the next one.
