OK, I'm hesitant to ask this, but I'm going to anyway. Anybody on here too manly to shoot pink fletching? IMHO I like them, nearly impossible to loose in any season. Let me know tho. dp

Derik, pink is just a cross between red and white and I like both of those colors.  With wood bow guys you shouldn't have to worry about guys that worry about what others think. Everyone thinks we are all nuts anyway.  ;)

I shoot pink wraps on my target arrows. Pink fletchings wouldn't bother me!

I'm making a Plains style quiver for my recipient. I have all the pieces cut out. The hair-on deer hide quiver body has been marked for the stitching but I will hand punch a couple of hundred stitching holes with an awl. The leather trim and shoulder strap can be punched with a stitching chisel. I won't need to punch holes in the felt accent, the needle should push through it easy enough.
I'm liking the quiver that's in my mind. I hope the completed quiver is as cool.  ;)

I've got a half dozen 23/64" POC shafts self nocked and nearly sanded. Never heard from my guy about the fletching. :(

Making some good progress. Finished up 5 knives last week too, got to make sheaths for two of them. Trying to stay busy on this.

Positively, dp

I love pink fletching, D. I have several batches done up with pink in their configuration. I'm thinking my next batch will be baby blue, even easier to see for me.

Our household has been down with a cold/flu/respiratory crud for the past month so work on my project has been hampered. I hope to get in the finishing stretch next week tho .

I know I haven't given any preferences, and I would be very happy to receive any of the gifts any of you guys are making. I just hope my recipient won't mind an atlatl with a few darts.
