Thanks
I am real new to flaking like this, but it works well to thin and shape and just forms the contours almost automatically.
I struggle with a smooth preform to pressure flake, then use up a lot of width pressure flaking, but I think a smooth preform and keep platforms close to centerline are real important.

I gotta take off outa town a few days. I'll be bacck

Impressive point from the owl creek. Some tough stuff to switch too from obsidian!
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

I just got a beautiful box of rocks from Redhand.  It's a fantastic variety of pieces from big slabs to flakes, and everything in between.  There are also some really nice preforms that just need final flaking and some cool blue aquarium glass I can't wait to try.  There are a bunch of new challenges in here for me.  I am a little afraid to mess them up, but I will give it my best.  Thanks so much, and thanks to tower for setting it up.
