So that's the bow you made from it. I'm glad I got to deliver it to him. It's funny all the trading and gifting that we all do. It would be hard to keep track of where everything ends up.

Yeah, most of what we do here on PA has lots of stuff from others in it, like tip overlays, skin, sinew, rawhide, wood or bamboo backings, handle risers hatchets or hatchet handles. The trade routes of the world continue.

I think I got a decent fit on the head. I still need to thin down the handle and sand it before I mount it. That will have to wait until my next day off work. The small draw knife worked good for roughing out the eye.

I just realized today that this piece of osage is from the monster osage tree. That will add a little extra mojo.
