This Rock looks out of this world

Really wasn't sure where to post this so here it is around the campfire. I was at one of my neighbors today. I've seen this rock he found before but my curiosity couldn't take it anymore. I took a couple pictures hope they turn out ok. This is not your everyday garden verity rock. This thing looks out of this world. It has obvious erosion but I'm wondering if it's atmospheric and not water. Not sure if the tape measure will show up but it's about 11" long. Anybody got a guess? Meteorite? Pretty cool whatever it is

I guess I don't know what that is Osage but it doesn't sound like a space traveler. It's still pretty cool looking rock. Thanks for the reply

Now that is cool. Could be from a woolly mammoth.  I think I like that better than a space traveler

See if it is magnetic. I think most meteorites have lots of iron in them.   Is it heavy for it's size?

Pat I asked him those same questions. He said a magnet would not stick to it. I picked it up, it was heavy but I didn't think incredibly so. I like the petrified 💩poo

Nope.  I had it right.  I'm a licensed expert  ;D

I'm not sure if that is coprolite or not.  It kind of looks like it could be though.

Without more details, such as weight, location of find, does it leave a red streak if you scratch it on cement and some other geo-geek stuff I don't understand...  ???
My geophysicist wife says it may be a concretion of some kind.

Pauls wife is right and then eroded from water. It is calcified or cemented sediment that has been eroded around the deposits that were cemented.

I think I agree with Eddie and Paul's wife. As much as I'd like to think Clint was right it seems eroded around some type of deposit

mushroom eating extinct buffalo.
Or maybe a concretion of some sort.
