Surfs up!
« on: May 08, 2017, 06:36:31 am »
It's been real windy here for a few days now. Yesterday I went out with my bow to see if I could find a turkey out of the wind or maybe some morels. I didn't find either but if you were brave enough and had a wetsuit and surf board you probably could have caught a wave. Not the greatest pictures but if you look past to bow in the pictures you can see the surf rolling in.

For those that have never seen the big lakes, they are like fresh water oceans, huge.  When the wind is up we can hear the waves bang the shoreline and we live three blocks away.

Nice looking bow!!

These make more of a crushing sound Bob, they can get a bit loud and keep my wife awake. I can usually sleep through almost anything.
