Good matter of fact story BJ.You guys have been getting the snow there.Makes it feel colder for sure. The cold here would kill my camera batteries too I'm afraid so I don't even bother. It's still gun season going on here and the deer are spooked pretty good.I'm usually out there for a least 3 hours when bow hunting and most times longer. When it gets below 30 degrees I'm out of there especially for that amount of time.I'm using a blind now too which does help to a degree.
I do plan on getting another shot though sometime.I won't be too picky either....lol.

Thanks Ed, it's still muzzle loarder here and the deer are still really nervous here to. In fact it was the first time I saw any in the daylight since Nov 15th the start of our shotgun season. It's getting to where they are getting hungry and cold. They've had it pretty good till now but it's going to get though for them now. They seem to be herding up now which isn't going to make it any easier with the stick bow. I got lots of venison from friends who didn't want to deal with it so at least that pressure is off. I saw a lot of wildlife and that's really all it takes for me to enjoy the hunt. I would very much like to get closer though and maybe just maybe get another shot. No regrets other than messing up the shot I did take. It's been my favorite hunting season as a total I've ever had. Lots of good close encounters.
Good Luck Ed and anyone else still hunting out there.
