The Classic Thursday Night Boil
« on: March 19, 2018, 11:59:38 am »
Hey Ya'll!

It's just over a month away and was sent a kind reminder from PatB to post about the Thursday evening boil.  As in years past, It would be great to have contributors and of course, eaters for what's become a traditional Tennessee Classic event.  In the spirit of a "Low Country Boil", I'm accepting donations to help with all the fixin's.  Of course, we will need shrimp.  I'll bring some but, not near enough to feed the approximately 100 mouths we've fed in recent years past.  Since it's probably the most pricey thing, if a few could bring a small bag to add to the pot(s), it would be great.  Traditionally, made of Cob corn, sausage, shrimp, onions and red potatoes seasoned to perfection.  Other items are accepted such as wild game or catches of all sorts, chicken, turkey, venison, hearty fish, celery, carrots and frankly, whatever else might be good to add to the pot.  Of course, corn bread and desserts are also welcome.

Reply to this post and I'll update who's-bringing-what.  It'll help keep track of what might be lacking and is needed.

I'll bring a bag of shrimp too, Matt. Let me know if anything else is needed.
