Peacock fletched arrows
DC:
My wife spotted an ad on FB. A guy had clipped a wing on his peacock and wondered it anyone wanted them. I jumped at it, I've been looking for peacock wing feathers. I got six half feathers five of them were long enough for two fletch each but the sixth was too short. I decided to mark the cock feather with spliced on white turkey feathers. I also thought I would use a stone point(obsidian I think) that Pender Bender gave me. Thanks Brendan. Hence the two preceding posts. I've never spliced a fletch before and 3 of the 4 turned out pretty good, the fourth has a bit of a gap but it will shoot fine. Bamboo garden stake shafts. Field points are made with hard concrete nails.

Thanks guys, arrows are really hard to photograph :D

Those looks really good Don! I thought that point looked familiar. I gotta try that feather splicing one of these times. Cheers- Brendan
