It certainly is Pappy. Between the two of us we had a big pile of Osage shavings. I've been trying to get him and one other buddy that likes to watch started. He most have got the bug and decided it was finally time to make some shavings of his own. Sure was fun watching for a change. He is very talented and artistic on his own. I very much look forward to seeing what he comes up with in the future.

Teaching a serious person as compared to a curious person is 10x easier. If that fire is truly burning they want little help, just point them in a direction and step back! Have fun BJ.

I'm sure your right Chris. This is the first time I've had anyone even start to try. Lots that think it's cool but not something they'd "have the patience for". I always tell them it's very cheap therapy at least it works for me.
I think my buddy probably could do good at it, but he's a very busy man to. We'll see. I probably won't be seriously building bows again til winter. I set this stave aside for him.
