Piking reflexed bows

Is there anything to be gained by piking a refexed bow? What you gain by piking you might lose by reducing reflex. Or is it dependant on the angle of reflex?

I guess why you are piking the bow would determine whether it's worth it.  The amount of reflexing vs. the amount of piking would matter.

  For a bow to be a candidate or piking the first thing has to be it took no set at its current length. Secondly if piking leaves me with less than a desirable profile ( reflex) it won't be worth it. If the bow took set before piking it will take even more after piking.

What about a case where i want more weight at earlier draw?  Its a bow i built to 49# @ 26" and i want to be closer to 45-49# at 23".  Its a stiff handle reflexed bow that did take some set.  Plenty of length to reduce tips.

   If you only draw it to 23 you might be ok but if you draw it to 26 it will take even more set.
