Don't even mind it cooling down a bit but the days are getting shorter. Still dark at 6:00am and suns gone by 8:00 pm.

Every thing turned out great, Dacite too. :)
Actual time six hours. :) :KN The Mexican obsidian, I think needs only 400 degrees. (=)
It abrades well and the flakes are smooth but there is a tendency to lop to easily. :-K

It started as a 1.5" thick brick :-K
