Heat resistant finish?

Here are some pics, I hope!
All the wood is walnut, sanded to 320 grit.  First pic is my test pieces, l>r, plain unsanded, spray poly, GF salad bowl finish, and my 4:1 flaxseed oil/beeswax, after having a semi hot skillet set on them, simultaneously.  Spoon finish needs a couple more coats, and longer cure time, polyurethane held up well.
