gravel and coral
bjrogg:
Again just beautiful 1442. I got a piece of something from the free chert pile at Marshall the first year I was there. Well actually my cousin got it and gave it to me. I think it was coral. It had been worked be someone else and was steps almost all the way around. I really didn't think I'd be able to get anything from it. It was quite small already. I couldn't believe how nice it worked. I'll see if I can find a picture of it.

Nice points , the the coral has a Newnan look to it . The Knap-in is in Silver River State park and it's turned into a great one it's Feb 16-17th this year.
Come on down

Thanks
It's good to know the name and dates of the knap in.
Here's some cool stuff I got to see and hold that came from that area.
mammoth tooth, mastodon jaw and extra tooth and a giant ground sloth claw bone, plus a section of a tusk.
