Cooking flint ridge material???

Who has done it successfully? And how did you do it. Had 2 pieces in turkey roaster all night and not sure it changed the knappability much...roaster goes to about 450. I won’t come close to a preform from either piece.

Any advice would be super!

You'll need at least 550, and to get that with a roaster you'll have fill it with sand and insulate the lid to hold the heat.

Tower:
If it has a removable pan pull it out.  You should get about 525*  at least that’s what mine will get up too

Do you keep it above 500 over night? Or just a couple hrs?
