Congratulations to Marius Fara of Gustavsburg, Germany
His Osage Signature Bow Started at the 10th Tennessee Classic
Is Self Bow of the Month for March.

I finally managed to finish a bow that was started during the bow challenge at the 10th TN Classic.  it's the stave i was given as a welcome present by GregB and Pappy (you may have read about it in my article).  i shot the bow during the bow challenge, but since PatB decided not to keep score, neither did I anyway, I had missed weight during the challenge and decided to let it be.  once back in germany, AndrewS was kind enough to guide me (making it a truly international cooperation project   ) while I piked it, flipped the tips and finished tillering it.  it's now 61" ntn, 1 3/4" at the fades and 1/2" at the tips.  it pulls 52lbs @ 25" (right where i wanted it) and it is backed with the best medicine out there, the signatures of some of my friends in the US of A ( I wish more of you would have been at last year's classic)

well folks, what can i say?  i still don't consider myself the winner.  to me it's all about the bow and what it stands for.  from the moment i was given the stave as a present to this very moment as i'm typing these words it was all about friendship, regardless of nationalities, across borders and across continents.  when i mentioned the BOM contest on "free archers", one of the german message boards i'm a member of, the bow started an avalanche.  i counted at least 10 to 15 new members here, all with handles that i know from the german board.  "primitive archer" is pretty well known in germany and austria now.  i would say the bow started as a good ambassador of our beloved hobby in tennessee and continued its calling across the pond.  now that you made her BOM, she'll perform her task even better.  i truly appreciate the honor and i'm gratefull for your votes, but i will always cherish your friendship more than any titles.

Congratulations, Marius-you don't see many bows that transcend continents and cultures. That's quite a special bow you have there. Now, you have to pay royalties to all of us that signed it.  ;D
