Here's a little 3/4'' 36'' 40 caliber straight barrel that Im starting from scratch for my oldest sons Christmas present. Got the barrel inlet today and the ramrod hole and channel drilled and done today.

 



I am also building one for myself in the same style with a longer a weight swamped barrel. I had it shaped and inlet for me by Cheney Looper at Primitive Arms Co. I will post pictures of it as I go as well.


This is the one that Cheney Looper did for me.

Did some shaping in the wrist and cheek piece area today.

Glad to see it, I've just begun a new project, also. :OK

Got the breech plug in and timed on the from scratch build today. Now I can inlet the tang and pin the barrel.
