Armadillos

(1/4) > >>

Eric Krewson:
Here in NW Alabama we had an influx of armadillos starting about 15 years ago, they are everywhere here now and were a problem when I hunted southern Tn.

Just wondering how far north they have gone, they are unfazed by our sub teen temps where I live. I have seen them out rooting on a 20 degree day.

What is the northernmost location you guys have seen them?

Pat B:
My wife and I just drove back from Savannah today and saw armadillos up above Spartenburg, SC just below the the mountains. I haven't seen them up here in the mountains yet.

Josh B:
We have them in Kansas.  I've never seen one north of i-70.

Russ:
Ive seen a 9 banded armadillo here so move it up to I-80. maybe it was past? well around there.

Edit- in the lower right hand side of nebraska.

Ed Brooks:
I caught one in the upper part of the Texas panhandle. Ed
