Thanks Rob. Sometimes I think I had about the best luck with regular Elmer's School glue.

To get the feather to adhere to the cane shaft you have to scrape off the outer layer of the cane. I’m not sure what the proper name is but it’s the shiny layer. I wrap my feathers with fine sewing thread then use very small dabs of gorilla super glue. Once set I remove the thread and the feather is rock solid on the shaft.

I don't scrap off rind on cane when applying feathers.. I peel mine..coat shaft with hide glue and wrap feather on with sinew... Ive never had a feather detach...
