Snakey Osage Bow with Boa Constrictor Skins 66" 50#@29"

I was given this skin as a gift from a generous fellow bowyer in Costa Rica. I've held onto it for a while now, waiting for the right stave and some inspiration. It all finally came together. The bow is 66" long and pulls 50#@29". I backed it with kangaroo rawhide under the snake skin for a bit of extra durability. The handle riser is maple burl with some pretty character. The tip overlays are white-tail deer antler and the string is d97 with mink fur silencers. The finish is permalyn gunstock finish.

Wow!  Waylin that bow is stunning!  You picked the perfect stave for those skins. Love the antler tip overlays. Great job as usual.
