Hickory narrow flatbow 45# at 28”

45 pounds at 28” and 71” ntn. Limbs are 1 1/8” at the widest and the top is a couple inches longer. Buffalo leather handle tooled with antler tines, cowhorn tip overlays, and leather dye.

Fiebings leather dye. The whole bow was stained with saddle tan then the tips and handle were faded into black. I also stained the back black but wiped it off before drying to add more contrast to the ridges.

Hard to say anything that does it justice. Your consistency in your work is extraordinary. Perfect bend. Love the grip and love how the handle flows. Great work - as always.

Did you heat treated it? All I heard about hickory is, it is prone to string follow and your design is very slim but limbs are straight.

Looks very good. Gonna make one from English oak.

Great looking hickory bow!  I really like the stain job and handle wrap. You make some really nice bows!
