made a shooter ! " pics added "

after making the static that came out light, and breaking my cherry /hickory . i just needed to make a shooter!  its a 65" osage  and pulls 55 @ 27" . i'll post some pics as soon as i make it look purty ;D
im also going to try sinew on the static to see if i can get it where it needs to be ,and i've got a red cedar & hickory glued up . oh yea i also need to get the bark and sapwood off all my osage, plus practice for our state shoot in 2 weeks!   THIS DAMN  HOBBIE TAKES ALL MY FREE TIME!!! ......LOL

not my 1st bow guys ! its more like 7 or 8...lol
 just been having a run of bad luck with the bow making latley .
and this one seems to really shoot nice so far.
i'll get it all finished up and post some pics befor i give it away this weekend .
man i really want to make a grumly static,maybe this will be the boost i needed ?

i know its not the best tiller but it really shoots well ?  55# @ 27 osage


i also got a really good start on this one today after stump shooting with my friends .
its a 62" hickory and it pulls about 200# @ 5"  ;D
i have it 2 1/2 " at the fades and it tapers to 1/2 "
im not sure how this style bow shoots but they sure look cool..lol

holy horse excrement.....!!!!! that is a nice shooter you got..... i have an ash that looks like the hickory you have there.... its coming along ohhhhh sooooo slllooowwlllyyyy.. but anyhoo... the shooter looks awesome... but the hickory has got me hackles up

Looks nice Catfish....................and it don't have a Store Bought String either.....I am proud of Ya there!! The Tiller.....from what I can see of the Two Limbs (LMAO) ....seems to be great.....NO.....You won't have any Free Time ....with this Hobby!!!

Looks good, and the tiller is spot on.

On thing though: it looks like your handle fades need to go a bit farther down on the limb. Ideally, the handle should fade out past the widest point of the limb by about a 1/2" or so. It appears that the handle fades stopped just short of the widest point of the limb.

The yellow arrow is the widest point of the limb width. The red arrow is where your handle fade stopped. The blue arrow is where your handle fade should end.
