Keep On Truckin
« on: December 17, 2021, 06:09:41 pm »
One of the truckers who deliver the Biosolids wanted a glass blade with a cholla handle. I posted the blade up top  in point of the month section.

Here’s the blade mated with the cholla handle.

I think he’s going to like it. If he doesn’t that’s okay cause I do.

Thanks Rob I can’t find anything either.

Thanks Allyn. I like this shape to. It seems like it would have been a practical design to. You could keep sharpening and wear that edge back.

Thanks White Falcon

Thanks RickB

Thanks for looking everyone

Thanks Eddy. I think that’s why he wanted the glass. He looked at a bunch of really nice knives, but when he saw the glass that’s what he wanted. Except he wanted a Cholla handle. It does really look like knapped ice.

Thanks Mike. I’m waiting for parts for my spreader right now. So he hasn’t been here to pick it up yet. I’m thinking he is really going to like it. He was blown away when he stepped inside my man cave.

Gave our trucker his knife yesterday. He was very happy with it. Always nice when someone really appreciates it. I love seeing them smile and looks at it from every direction.

Kudos to any knapper who makes stuff with clear glass. It's one of the most challenging materials, in my opinion. Nice job. )P(
