graduation gift knife

Made this knife and sheath for a young friend who is graduating from high school this week.  The blade is made of storefront glass (Carrara?).  The antler is whitetail hafted with elk sinew.  Sheath is black deerskin over goat rawhide, sewn with artificial sinew.

That is really cool.  I got a big ol' hunk of red glass from Cowboy at the classic (notice the obligatory "Big ol'" adjective for Texans  8)) and been wondering what to do with it.  Now I know.
