Character hickory bow “tiger”
Del the cat:
Wow, impressive speed for a scruffy ;) piece of Hickory.
Handsome bow. Sometimes the challenging staves turn out the best.
Great job
Del
(makes me want to have another go with hick'ry :) I got a bit of a plank somewhere....)

Thanks Del. Much appreciated. Yes the challenging staves that become bows are some of the most rewarding too.
Pappy:
Beautiful bow , very nice work, love all but tip overlays, they are beautiful but not very good in the woods, bump or drop them and bow can easily be toasted, not putting it down because it is a beauty, just not for me, never run overlay passed tip of bow, ask me how I know 😉☺️ seen it happen to many times. Still love your work and hope you don’t take offense . 😊Pappy

No offence taken at all. To each’s own. Thanks for checking it out and commenting.
Cheers

I don't run over lays past the tip of my bow, but if I did the glue up would be with AD 40 Smooth On, and hard wood over lays.
