Made a few more attempts. Still struggling but getting a little better.
This picture is of some obsidian someone very kindly gifted me. Some very cool pieces in the box I got from him and I might set it back for a while till I feel a little more comfortable with trying to work it.

Muskyman:
This is a piece of Georgetown. I’m getting a little better with the indirect. I think I have to work on how hard to hit it and that will help me with getting the flakes I need.
