Northern Pike Fillet Knife

(1/2) > >>

RickB:
Here's a knife I finished that's a keeper. I was unable to post photos of it while the board was down. Found a broken, barkless
cedar branch that looked  like a fish last summer and finally knapped a blade that made for a perfect match. Hard to see but the
obsidian (which I traded for) has some wavy, rainbow colored bands. Photos taken indoors under an incandescent light.

Parnell:
Super nice knife, Rick!  All the way around.  I can see those waves, gorgeous work.  The handle is great.

bjrogg:
Very nice. You did come up with the right combination.

Man, I love me some northerns! I like how they dance on the end of the line and the way they lay on a plate!

And now I can say they make a great knife handle!

Muskyman:
I’m more of a muskyman myself  (lol)
Great looking knife. That handle really does look like a pike.
