Thanks for all the kind words, been following you all for a while so it's good to finally hear from ya. I'm kinda hoping some of you more experienced bowyers try out this design. I'm sure there are many improvements to be made both mechanically and aesthetically but I've reached my creative limit for the time being.

Welcome! That is a very cool design, and I like the simplicity of it. It looks a lot simpler to make then fitting metal sleeves and getting them to work smoothly.

If the magazine were still operating I'd recommend you write an article for it. This really is fascinating in terms of invention and utility. It's primitive adds to the cherry on top. I'm very glad you joined our forum :)
