I don't post many bows anymore but thought I might post this one,it's a special piece of wood from a good friend, gifted to me several years ago at the Classic, finely got around to turning it into a bow. It is Hawthorn with lots of character which I like. See what ya think. Deer antler over lays and a few knots and holes.

Sweet shooter, pretty fast with a 500 grain arrow even with the low weight, probable won't make my elk hunt this year but will for sure see some action this fall in the deer woods.  :)

Looks good Pappy. I’m sure it will bring home venison this fall. It’s in the right hands for it.

Thanks guys, Dave it is some beautiful wood, very light in the hand and I think most I have seen has a lot of character but seems to be very tough and springy kind of like Yew.I did get it a little closer when floor tillering than I probably should have is the reason I missed the weight I was looking for which is usually about 50 at my draw. Next piece if I ever get anymore I will get it strung a bit earlier , live and learn I guess.  :)
