I have always been ambitous in my bowmaking. And wanted to proove them woidies as equal even in the modern world. With the help of my archers. Thanks to them we have multiple national longbow championships with all natural bows by now. All wood and bamboo wood horn composite. Feels like great reward!
Edit: And the problem here is not to make a competitive bow - we all know its possible. the problem is to convince the modern archer to go with a wooden bow....
....they will at least need a arrowrest

However, this bow goes to a retired horse smith, shooting 200 arrows a day. A real test for my work. I really wonder about stringfollow and long term behaviour here. Maybe I should better advise to to just shoot her on sundays 🤣
