Wallski:
How much weight do you guys hang, on the opposite end of your bow, for heat bending your tip?

Pat B:
I only bend one tip at a time and use the weight of the bow to do its own work.

Pappy:
I have a little 1/2 lbs weight I hang on the opposite tip  with a wire,if it get to moving to fast I back off on the heat. Wished I could get a picture of my set up but still not home yet, sorry, maybe in a few more days. Pappy

Selfbowman:
I have done it Two ways . One the way Pappy does it and the other just starting at the fades and working my way out . When I get to
I’d limb I take the tips half way down on the caul. Then go back to mid limb and when I get to the tips I heT and slowly pull the tip the rest of the way down.

Selfbowman:
I might heat the tips several times till I get it. If found if you take it 1/2” at a time and let it cool a bit in between it doesn’t crack near as bad if any.
