October is shaping up to have some good entries! We still have a couple weeks left, so if you want to be in the running for October, get them bows posted!

Bentstick when I harvested Osage I would cut a small pie shape from the bottom of the trunk of the tree. Check the rings and if they did not make the two to one ratio I would leave it standing and move on to the next tree. That and bark going straight up and down the trunk.
