Osage orange pulling 43# at 28”. A pair of billets split form one short wide stave. Each side was reflexes a bit before gluing up then flipped the tips so the string lies just off the belly. Limbs are right at 1” wide to mid limb then tapers to 3/8” nocks. Overlays are bison horn. Belly is slightly rounded to accommodate for one side of the billet splitting out a bit narrow and just cleaning up the split outs. Decorated with common carp skins. I had some issues with the skins being extra oily after multiple dawn baths and soakings and the truoil coat didn’t want to dry, even after 3 days. So I stripped it off with acetone and coated with the matte lacquer I hit the bow with after filling the pores with truoil
Thanks for looking
