Glenn Doane

Some of you older members might remember Glenn but he passed away last Saturday from intestinal complications.  Glenn didn't post much but he was a member of the PA message board for as long as I can remember, heck I think he was a member when I first registered an account back in the 90's.  Glenn came up to see me a couple times many years ago to do some archery bear hunting, even shot a bear with a sinew backed ERC bow, unfortunately we didn't recover the bear.  The last time Glenn was here I gave him a hard maple stave, from which he made a bow and shot a decent buck with.  RIP Glenn

I do remember Glenn. He gave me the info about the Massey Medicine Bow I built and sent me the hide glue and some of the sinew I believe. It is the bow I've donated to the giveaway. His name is documented on the bow.
So sorry to hear about Glenn's passing. RIP Glenn.
Thanks for letting us know, Marc.
