2nd annual giveaway for 2026

Welcome to the SECOND annual end of year giveaway!

I have simplified this from last year, so please read through as some changes have been made.

The idea: The intent is to raise money and participation, as well as highlight contributing members and make the front main page interactive. Contributing members will get their name in a hat for an end of year drawing for their choice of many donated items. Check in here for updates as the prize pot grows!

  If you want to donate anything, let me know via email at Primitivearchermagazine@gmail.com to discuss details. Every December will be that last month for entry, and the drawing will be held in January, after the B.O.M. winner has been decided for December. I will do a drawing amongst all qualifying contributing members.

  Methods of contributions:
The BEST contribution will ALWAYS be your participation in the community.

To qualify by donation and be involved in direct financial support of this page and its upgrades,  Every $20 equals one entry for the year and can be sent via mail to the PO box 2 Edward nc 27821 or via cashapp at $PrimitiveArcherMag. If those payment options won't work for you, please email to tell me what is best for you.

Additional participation based ways to qualify for the drawing event:

I misunderstood the way the drawing would be run, I assumed there were be multiple winners in a descending scale with the top winners getting to pick a great prize like a bow and the people picked in a lower order being able to pick lesser prizes.

If I had know there would be only one winner I wouldn't have offered the other stuff or even a used bow.

My mistake.

Hey Eric, im sorry for the confusion.  This is a first for me doing an event like this. I decided on the concept of  one winner to select one prize, keeping the rest on hand for one winner to select one prize next year, because the idea of asking everyone to donate such items to a prize pot yearly seems like a very big ask and a huge tax on generous members like you, and everyone else who was so generous to offer something. I figure its easier to replace the one item selected each year than an entire prize list yearly. Then there was the fear of the likelihood of not having the same number of, and quality of prizes each year and the winners feeling a little disappointed in quality and quantity of prizes. The list we have now of prizes is absolutely phenomenal, replicating that each year would be unlikely.

If you have ideas to help any of these situations id be genuinely interested.
