Good looking arrows there Paul! I'm working on getting there myself. Shot some that Sawfiler had during the Classic and was really impressed with them.  What are yall using to straighten the cane? I've used a candle so far and just straightening by eye. Also have rolled them on a table some to see wobble. How about reducing the nodes down? ;D

Greg, any heat source will work, but the bestest one is a heat gun in a holder. Keep rotating the shaft as you heat it, and don't overheat. When you see the cane start to sweat and start smelling it, it's ready to bend. I usually trim/sand the nodes down even with the rest of the shaft.
