Heat treating Buffalo River
mullet:
Jesse, when I heat treat the local chert we have here. I just put the spalls in the toaster oven, turn it all the way on (500dgs) and let it cook all night. I unplug it in the morning when I go to work and it is cool when I get home. You can usually hear the diferrence when you smack it.
