My dad, after countless times telling me, "nope, im fine with my compound" is gonna get a recurve and shoot wood arrows, now it aint exactly primitive but its better than the compound, but id like to thank mr huston,
i think my dad being out there gave him the bug and now he even wears a felt hat around....
i just figued id say because my dad tells his friends now, yeah im gonna shoot a stickbow! lol

Way to go dad
! Now to get him working on a bow of his own - I figure a feller would get a lot of satisfaction knowing he'd taken game with his home equipment

Yeah, when my dad was alive I was still using a recurve. He never got to experience my bow making and wine making...I think he would have enjoyed both!

When a father/son relationship gets to the point that a father can learn from the son, the relationship becomes even more special....
Love to hear it, brother!

Don't blame me for the switch your dad made young brother... he was about as at home here as anyone I have met... besides if you were to ask certain people I ain't even close to being a hunter, much less a primitive one
..glad you and your dad can share in the hunt, and look on the bright side you can borrow his arrows now... Hawk a/ho
