We truely enjoy the time we get to spend with the Twin Oaks crew and hope we don't "wear out our welcome"....and I've been hearing "Easy.....Don't scape so Hard!" in my sleep..... ;D    It would be around 22 pounds if not for BigA and Pappy! LOL.........THX again Guys....Don and Skyler

It was good to see you folks at the TTAS Meeting also,   I think it is off to a good start.
Funny that we work at similar jobs and escape to simple stick and string to unwind with good friends,  Its also great to see Skyler and Mason so passionate,  you know the future of wood bows is safe with them to carry it on :)

They left this morning.  I tried to swing by yesterday afternoon but got overcome by events (homework with the kids and softball practice for my daughter) so I couldn't make it happen.

I mentioned it to him.  Right after he got here he wanted to shoot my bow so I took him out back and we stepped off to about 15 yards.  I have a small rubber ball hanging from a string in front of my bails.  The first shot he shot was touching the ball and the second arrow ripped the nock off the first arrow.  I made him back up  ;D   It was a good visit.   

On another note I had 33 turkeys in the back today and today was the first day that two big Toms accompanied them and were strutting all over the yard.  The hens just ran from them today but it won't be long.

Ranger, I've been watching a flock of about 20 or so and yesterday was the first strut I have seen. Our season is still about a month out so I hope they hold out for a while.
