Gary's deer, nice young doe. The handle almost finished/another nice ax head, this is what they call a felling ax made for cutting down trees. ;) and Michael comes in with some persimmon to make staves from.  :)

Going to miss these guys, also a picture of the reef TwinOaks sent for Tammy to keep in memory of King Ron, she really loved it. Hope yall all had a great Christmas and have a prosperous 2016. That's it for the week but pictures just can't do justice the good time I had with family and friends. Now back to work ;) :) Life is Good.

Beautiful wreath, Pappy! I'm sure Tammy loved it and it seems very representative of Ron. I never really knew the man, but by the kind remarks made, he was obviously loved.

Sounds like you had a productive break and some nice relaxin time with friends and family. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

Looks like another great weekend, Pappy. Yea, I'm gonna miss those two guys. I didn't know them as long as you did but they always made me feel like I was a friend forever. I'd love to have a copy of that picture of Ron and Art for my picture collection.

I'll send it to you Eddie. :) By the way Eddie I have stumped a lot of pretty knowledgeable wood folks with that Carrot wood handle I put in my maul. ;) Most have never heard of it much less figure out what it is before I tell them. Had a lot of fun with that over the last few weeks. Thanks. :) Got to go pick up my late Christmas present from Miss Joanie this evening/pocket size 380  ;) and then head to the cabin to skin a couple of deer, I was planning on skinning them yesterday but just to cold and windy so decided to wait on the warmer weather today. Beau and I plan on trying out the new stuffer Saturday making some brats. Hope they turn out half as good as Rocky's and Kevin. :-\ I doubt the first ones will ,theirs are hard to beat. :)
